FYI BOON DOCKING/OFF THE GRID:

When camping without water/electric hook-up: The roof top solar panel will charge camper battery.

Fully charged battery will run :

Large Indoor fridge, stove top, power awning, lights, heater, water pump, hot water heater (that will run on lp), toilet, shower, usb charging ports by bed, radio. How long everything will run depends on what is turned on/usage by the individual guest. The manufacturer suggests 4-8 hours use before battery requires recharge. The solar panel is constantly charging the battery during the day (sunny/overcast may dictate how fast charging occurs).

What Solar will not power:

The plug in outlets in the camper & large power items will not be operational. Roof air conditioning, microwave, tv/dvd, anything that plugs into the standard outlets in the camper such as: coffee pot, toaster, electric can opener or the smaller outdoor fridge. This is something to be aware if you are new to camping off the grid. We can provide a percolator for coffee/vs electric coffee pot normally including in the kitchen package if you are boon docking or have the option of renting the generator which will power all features including the air conditioning.
